Gurukul GandhidhamOur School History
Inspired by the traditional Gurukul system and the vision of Shree Swaminarayan, the school was established to provide children with modern education while nurturing values, discipline and character.
Teaching methodology in Gurukul is the most ancient and competitive in today’s world. This methodology can be observed only in India.
Usually, our sages were the guiding light for the education imparted to the outsiders in the naturalistic environment. They indulge in sowing the seeds and nurturing the roots of spiritual values and Vaidic Sanskar into their students.
To cultivate this inspiration into reality, the Saints of Swaminarayan Mandir Bhuj established Gurukuls in various areas of Kutch to nurture and facilitate the children with good etiquettes and modern education.
This initiative was adopted by Mahant Sadguru Swami Shri Vallabh Dasji years back. Thereafter, Mahant Sadguru Shastri Swami Dharmjivan Dasji expanded the initiative with Mahant Sadguru Purani Swami Hari Swaroop Dasji and Mahant Sadguru Purani Swami Dhérmanandan Dasji.

The school campus provides spacious classrooms, activity areas, sports facilities, computer learning resources, an audiovisual room, prayer hall and other facilities supporting academic and personal development.
We believe in providing such facilities which promote children’s imagination, and widen the area of knowledge.
The school building is a sight to behold with ace infrastructural design which makes the school a picturesque appeal. Spread over more than six acres of land, the school campus is designed to cater for every need of young and growing children.
The School Campus presently consists of well maintained Administrative block, spacious classrooms, a specially designed playground and the Indoor games arena, ultra-modern Audiovisual Room, Hostel and Prayer Hall.
